Generation Z in the Czech Labour Market: Growth Yes, Routine No
What are the real work values of Generation Z in the Czech context? And where do their expectations align – or diverge – from those of employers?
These questions were explored by Jan Pospíšil from the Faculty of Management at the Prague University of Economics and Business, the lead author of the study, and Mojmír Sabolovič, co-author of the research and Dean of the Faculty of Management. The results of their research were published as a chapter in the international academic book Gen Z at Work in Central and Eastern Europe (Routledge).
The main findings can be read in the article Generation Z in the Czech Labour Market: Growth Yes, Routine No, published in the Science and Research section of the VŠE website, where the authors summarise the key results of their study. Readers can learn, for example, how Generation Z approaches routine work and how work expectations differ between women and men.
The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of Generation Z’s role in the Czech labour market and highlight the importance of dialogue between young employees and employers.
