Jan Závodný Pospíšil became the most popular teacher of the Faculty of Management in 2021
In the third year of the annual school-wide survey Teacher of the Year, the most popular teacher of the Faculty of Management has been awarded to Jan Závodný Pospíšil, Ph.D. The survey, in which students evaluate their teachers’s qualities and select the best ones from each faculty, was officially crowned with the award ceremony at the Academic Plenum on March 15, 2022. The winners from all faculties received their awards directly from the hands of the Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business, prof. Hana Machková. Congratulations to Honza!
A total of 2,661 students participated in the survey, which took place in the environment of the study information system InSIS. The most popular teachers were:
- Faculty of Finance and Accounting – Jan Molín, Ph.D.
- Faculty of International Relations – associate professor Martina Jiránková, Ph.D
- Faculty of Business Administration – David Říha, Ph.D.
- Faculty of Informatics and Statistics – Miroslava Otavová
- Faculty of Economics – Michal Mirvald, Ph.D.
- Faculty of Management – Jan Závodný Pospíšil, Ph.D.
Jan Závodný Pospíšil
Jan has been at the Faculty of Management, Department of Management for 5 years. Since 2021 he has also a member of the Academic Senate of the Faculty. In his lectures he focuses mainly on Fundamentals of Management, Introduction to Marketing and Brand Management, but is also actively involved in the Summer and Winter International School. His research focuses on marketing and media communication, sustainability and management. He is the author and co-author of popular educational publications (Media Education, How-to Media, How-to Advertising). He is a member of the Czech Marketing Association (CMA) and Mensa ČR.
