Marketing Inspiration Summer School 2021: the second year of success

The Faculty of Management has organised its second summer school event. This year’s theme was Marketing Inspiration Summer School 2021! The summer school has been held as a fully online event in two weeks in August 2021. These two weeks were full of beneficial knowledge for all of the participants.

Despite the coronavirus situation, in August 2021 the Faculty of Management welcomed students from almost all over the world. Students enjoyed two weeks full of study and fun. Participants had the opportunity to choose up to four of the offered courses: Marketing in Healthcare, Business Valuation, Strategic Tourism Marketing and Branding. Depending on the number of courses they had enrolled in, students’ schedules varied. Some students applied only for one or two courses, but few of them decided to challenge themselves by applying for all four courses.

Participants of the summer school enjoyed also a lot of non-study activities with their Buddies – students of the Faculty of Management. During these they had the opportunity to “virtually” visit the Faculty of Management, experience both its hometown of Jindrichuv Hradec and the South Bohemian region itself. Buddies were in touch with students throughout the whole duration of the Summer School and were ready to help and support them, to make their “virtual stay” as pleasant as possible.  The summer school’s participants also took part in teambuilding activities, during which they could get to know their classmates better and could challenge their knowledge of Czech culture and Marketing.

During the Summer School, the participants received both study and personal experiences, as well as some gifts and rewards from the Faculty of Management. Upon successful completion of the exams, students obtained up to 12 ECTS credits (depending on the number of succesfully completed courses), which can be recognised by their home universities and added to their study curriculums. Participants also received certificates of attendance, which serve as a confirmation and can contribute to the students’ career development.

The Faculty of Management and the organising team hope to welcome students of the Marketing Inspiration Summer School 2022 on-site next year, as planned. Preparations have already started, and the Faculty is looking forward to meeting the future students of the Summer School 2022.
