Stanislav Tripes, PhD
At the Faculty of Management, Prague University of Economics and Business, I work as Vice-Dean for Strategy and Development and as an academic specializing in management. As part of the faculty leadership, I participate in formulating and implementing the faculty’s strategy, development and investment plans, HR policies, and projects aimed at enhancing the quality of the academic environment. I am also involved in initiatives focused on the career development of academic staff, human resource management within a research organization, and the systematic integration of artificial intelligence into education and research.
My teaching and research focus primarily on strategic management, organizational design, and strategic decision-making. A long-standing area of my professional interest is the craft beer industry – specifically brewery strategies, performance, competitive advantage, consumer behavior, and workforce education within the sector. I lead the “Strategy and Education in the Craft Brewing Sector” research group in this field. Additionally, I work on knowledge transfer into practice, fostering collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and exploring the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence.
