Knowledge Transfer Centre

The Knowledge Transfer Centre is about „building bridges“ – between theory and practice, students and professionals, research and real life. It helps us stay relevant, responsive, and rooted in the world around us.

The Knowledge Transfer Centre (KTC) at the Faculty of Management reflects our strategic commitment to enhancing collaboration between academia and society. KTC aims to strengthen our connections with companies, public institutions, schools, associations, and, of course, our alumni and students.

One of KTC’s main roles is acting as the first point of contact for external stakeholders. Our faculty offers its specific expertise, collaboration opportunities, or support with contract research, which often addresses real, everyday challenges.

But it doesn’t stop there. KTC helps spread our research beyond academic journals – into the media, public events, and others. We also connect our students with real-world experiences through internships and student projects, often in cooperation with our extensive partner network.

We work with professional associations, organise events like Innovation Week, and stay connected with our alumni, many of whom come back to collaborate on research or mentor students. We even reach out to future students and support lifelong learning through programmes like the University of the Third Age or Lifelong Learning Courses.

Let’s work together to strengthen the bridge between research and practice. I look forward to our collaboration.
