Phool Hussain during his research stay at AGH University in Krakow

The Faculty of Management is fully committed to supporting the international mobility of its students and academic staff. A significant contribution to the development of our international relations and scientific endeavors is the current research study stay of our PhD student, Phool Hussain. He is currently based at the Faculty of Management at AGH University in Krakow, Poland, where he actively engages in a wide range of academic and research activities.

Key Focus Areas of Scientific and Academic Activities

The main pillar of Phool Hussain’s stay is intensive work on his dissertation and an aligned research paper. He is conducting this research under the direct guidance of his host supervisor, Dr. Dariusz Cichoń. Alongside his independent scientific work, our PhD student regularly participates in internal departmental seminars and other academic forums organized by the host faculty.

As part of his professional development, he also attended the specialized “Global Sustainable Project Lab” workshop. The workshop, subtitled “International Project Management: Building Sustainable Projects Across Cultures,” focused on the management of sustainable projects within multicultural environments.

Presentation of Research at Academic Conferences

During his stay in Krakow, Phool Hussain has also successfully presented his findings to the wider scientific community, participating in two academic events. He actively took part in the NAWA Research Conference, hosted directly by AGH University, as well as the Smart Urban Heating Forum. These appearances provided valuable opportunities to present his current research results and receive feedback from international experts.

Contribution to Personal Development and Inter-Faculty Collaboration

In addition to his demanding academic responsibilities, Phool Hussain has the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage, history, and scenery of Krakow. We believe that this international experience will not only significantly advance his scientific career and expand his professional network but will also help foster future collaboration between the AGH Faculty of Management and the VSE Faculty of Management.
