Strengthening International Cooperation in North Macedonia

Employees of the Faculty of Management participated in the Erasmus+ Teaching and Staff Mobility programme at Faculty of Economics in Prilep, North Macedonia. The faculty was represented by Vladimír Hanousek, Petra Kozáková, Lucie Váchová, and Natálie Jarošová.

The mobility included expert lectures focused on quality management, lean principles, company financial performance, and compliance management. The topics discussed included the practical application of quality management tools, optimization of cost structures, working capital management, and the role of quality in the long-term stability and performance of organizations. Attention was also given to compliance management as a tool for preventing systemic failures and managing emerging business risks.

In addition to teaching activities, the programme also included staff mobility, during which Natálie Jarošová from the study department shared experiences related to administrative processes and discussed examples of good practice and possibilities for further cooperation with local colleagues.

The mobility provided not only valuable professional insights and inspiration, but also opportunities to establish new contacts and strengthen future international cooperation. Participants also appreciated the welcoming and open academic environment of the partner institution.

Special thanks go to Aneta Risteska Jankuloska, Vice Dean for Material and Financial Affairs, and Emilija Gjorgjioska, Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Development, for their warm welcome, openness, and hospitality throughout the mobility.

The participants evaluated the Erasmus+ mobility very positively and appreciated not only the professional exchange of experience, but also the opportunity to experience the local environment, culture, and hospitality of North Macedonia.
