Martin Luštický participated in Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility in Turkey

Martin Luštický from the Faculty of Management participated for the third time in an Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey. During his stay, he taught at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Tourism, where he delivered expert lectures and workshops focused on strategic management and tourism development.

The teaching activities focused primarily on strategic management, destination competitiveness, and tourism development planning. During the lectures, students explored basic analytical tools of strategic management, the strategic decision-making process, and current challenges related to the development of tourism destinations.

The mobility also included interactive workshops held within the Business English course, during which students discussed the current form of tourism in Alanya. In particular, they critically evaluated the traditional “3S tourism” model (sun, sea, sand) and explored possibilities for developing alternative and more sustainable forms of tourism in coastal destinations.

We first explored the topics together, discussed specific examples, and then immediately applied some of the approaches in practical activities. I believe the students especially appreciated the connection between theory and practice,” says Martin Luštický.

The mobility provided an opportunity not only to share professional experience and establish new contacts, but also to strengthen long-term cooperation between the institutions. Dr. Luštický also appreciated the welcoming atmosphere of the partner university and the friendly approach of both colleagues and students.

It was already my third time in Alanya, and once again I felt almost at home there. I truly appreciate the warm welcome from both colleagues and students. I evaluate the whole mobility very positively and look forward to further cooperation,” adds Martin Luštický.

The Faculty of Management has long supported international staff mobility and the development of international cooperation, which contribute to the sharing of experience, professional growth, and the strengthening of international partnerships.
