Sara Bensal led the course Entrepreneurship and Startup
The Faculty of Management hosted an intensive course Entrepreneurship and Startup from April 27 to April 30, 2026, led by Sara Bensal from University Ibn Zohr.
The course focused on developing an entrepreneurial mindset and understanding the key principles related to establishing and managing a new business. Throughout the course, students explored the role of startups in the context of economic growth and innovation while also deepening their understanding of the entrepreneurial profile, including the personal characteristics and skills required for successful entrepreneurship.
An important part of the course was working with practical tools and approaches commonly used in business practice. Students were introduced to the concept of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), business model development, and its gradual transformation into a comprehensive business plan. They also focused on identifying and evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities, working with value propositions, and enhancing creative thinking.
The course also emphasized the development of practical skills, particularly teamwork, problem-solving, and effective presentation of business ideas. The outcomes of students’ work included entrepreneurial project proposals presented in the form of pitch decks.
At the same time, the course integrated knowledge from various areas of management and enabled students to apply theoretical concepts in the context of real-world business situations. This approach contributes to a better understanding of the complexity of entrepreneurship and its importance for fostering innovation, employment, and overall economic growth.
The Faculty of Management would like to thank all students for their active participation. Special thanks go to Sara Bensal for her professional guidance and for sharing her international experience.
