Refugee Community Centre financial sponsorship

The Community Centre at the Faculty of Management for refugees from areas affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine has become a fully-fledged centre attended by all refugees staying in the town of Jindřichův Hradec and its surroundings. The centre is used on daily basis by dozens of visitors, who not only seek help in dealing with formalities related to life in the Czech Republic, but also use the babysitting service. The most important help that the Faculty of Management offers directly to refugees is adaptation to the environment of Jindřichův Hradec and the Czech Republic in general. Since the first day of the centre’s existence, refugees have been attending the language courses during which they learn the basics of the Czech language. In the future, other courses are planned to facilitate their stay in the Czech Republic and improve their position on the labour market.

Considering donation?

The Faculty of Management is ready to accept any financial donations. These funds will be used only for the Refugee Community Centre, to purchase textbooks and other study materials and supplies. In no case will the money be used for the salaries of the Faculty of Management staff, who work at the Community Centre on a completely voluntary basis.
